2026 Season Update!

To our Littletree Orchards valued customers,

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided that we will not be opening the farm for upick this year.  Due to a late spring freeze that severely damaged the blossoms, we lost a large amount of this year's fruit crop. Weather like this is one of the hardest parts of farming — a few cold nights at the wrong time can affect the whole season. This wasn't an easy decision, but we feel it’s the right one for our family and the orchard.

The limited apple and pear crop that we do have will be going into making all our farm fresh products.

We will have a self-service stand set up on the porch of the Apple barn where you can pick up fresh pressed cider and donuts as well as all our other orchard goodies. Starting September 5th, more info to come!

We're incredibly grateful for your continued support of our family farm over the years.

Thank you for growing with us.

With gratitude,
The Littletree Orchards Family

You can get our cider, donuts, raw vinegars, sauces, butters, and more at the Ithaca Farmers Market every weekend: Saturdays 9am-3pm and Sundays 10am-3pm.

A place to pick, picnic and explore...

Littletree Orchard was established in 1973 in the rolling hills of Newfield, which is located on the unceded lands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫʼ(Cayuga) people. Throughout the years the orchard has changed and evolved ebbing and flowing with the land and with the times. But what has not changed is our love of this land and the deep respect that we have for it. We continue to learn everyday for the trees, plants, water, animals and birds.

Littletree is focused on providing a hands on pick-your-own experience to the public. At Littletree our low spray, organic focused, Integrated Pest management approach provides safe, quality fruit in a comfortable picking environment. We want to provide the best possible experience to all who come out to share in the fun of picking, being in the country, communing with nature, or relaxing with friends.

When you come out for a visit stop in at our Apple Barn to say Hi and we'll give you a map to direct you to the best picking for the day, and show you where walking trails and picnic tables are. Hangout in the Apple Barn and play a game of ping pong, or ride down the big blue slide. Stroll through the tress, pick a little here, taste a little there...

Thousands of semi dwarf apple trees invite you to Littletree to pick from over 20 varieties of apple, all for you picking pleasure. Well known varieties such as McIntosh, Cortland, Golden and Red Delicious are available. You'll find specialty varieties such as Jonagold, Melrose, Fuji, and Mutsu. Old fashioned varieties such as Idared, Northern Spy, Rome Beauty, and Baldwin, can be found too!
